Rida Sobana

Driven by both soul and purpose, Mr Rida Sobana creates design schemes that uniquely responds to each project brief. His designs are achieved by thoroughly understanding the needs and concerns of the clients while exploring the endless possibilities of architecture design. It is a design process that Rida likens to a game of chess in which a myriad of outcomes unfolds based on the strategies used. In short, a building’s architecture design can be transformed in infinite ways within the larger framework of design principles.

Rida’s versatile design portfolio covers a wide spectrum of typologies and scale. They include Senayan City, Uttara the Icon Residence and Water Town master plan. Today, as director, he oversees and drives the design and delivery of large-scale mixed-used developments in Indonesia and Middle East. He also encourages and manages talent in DP.

His passion for design has also led Rida to speak at conferences and give lectures at schools, keenly sharing his knowledge and experience with young aspiring architects. He was a keynote speaker for conferences at the National Seminar of Association of Indonesian Shopping Malls and the ANABATA series.
