The ten-hectare development is located near Jakarta’s Central Business District, in a highly sought-after area characterised by up-market residences set amidst lush natural landscape and greenery along the river. Responding to the developer’s commitment to rejuvenate the green concentration in the Kemang area, the concept seeks to comprehensively renew the landscape through reforestation and allocating minor pockets of the site for the public to enjoy. The objective was for the project to sensitize itself to the demands of its natural surroundings, while rejuvenating Kemang’s sylvan charm by punctuating the landscape with gardens and pools.

The residential aspect of the development consists of four 42-storey towers, a 5-storeyed multi-storey carpark and a clubhouse, packaged together with an integrated mixed-used plot that comprises residential, hospitality, institutional and commercial programmes. The towers are kept a distance apart to ensure privacy, and a conscious effort was made to ensure a fluid skyline so as to not adversely impact the low-rise nature of the surroundings. Kemang village is testament that urban developments can respect the natural landscape while responding to the needs of the built environment.
