DP Architects awards SUTD’s new architecture graduates

Ms Angelene Chan, CEO of DP Architects, was invited to speak and present the DPA awards during the Singapore University of Technology and Design (SUTD)’s annual Master of Architecture Thesis Public Review’s Award ceremony on 17^th August.

In her speech, she congratulated the class of 2018, the third cohort of SUTD’s Master of Architecture program on their design projects displayed in the exhibition and briefly elaborated on the DPA Awards. The awards were newly established this year by DP Architects in support of SUTD’s architecture students.

The Master of Architecture Thesis Public Review is an annual public exhibition which showcases design projects by graduating students of SUTD’s Master of Architecture program. The DPA Awards has five award categories which recognise the best project thesis in Computation, Fabrication, Representation, Research and the best overall project thesis. The awards are part of DP Architects’ ongoing support for the local architecture community as well as its collaboration with SUTD in cultivating an innovative learning environment that focuses on technology-driven design approach. They are funded through an endowment sum donated by DP Architects to SUTD.
