DP Façade delivers keynote at Kuala Lumpur Architecture Festival 2018

Mr Mathieu Meur, director of DP Façades, was invited as guest speaker to the annual Kuala Lumpur Architecture Festival (KLAF) 2018. The festival is divided into four main events, namely Datum:KL, Datum:GREEN, Datum+PLUS and Datum:EDU.

Speaking in the half-day forum Datum:Green, an event that features the latest in sustainable design and eco-centric research worldwide, Mathieu shared his insights on disruptive technologies in façades.

His keynote covered three aspects: the design process, façade materials and building envelope systems. He elaborated how technology advances have brought about new façade design techniques and construction methods that allow for speedier and more efficient façade building.

The 2018 edition of Kuala Lumpur Architecture Festival (KLAF2018) focuses on the thematic idea of “CHANGES”. It explores the new roles of architecture and design in a fast changing environment caused by shifting urban conditions, design economy, social structures and digital technology.
