DP Architects’ SAFRA Choa Chu Kang To Open In May 2023

DP Architects is elated to share that SAFRA Choa Chu Kang (SAFRA@CCK) will be completed by May 2023. Embodying the theme of a “fitness oasis”, the exuberant and distinct form of SAFRA@CCK  seeks to foster an active community, while its biophilic design complements its natural and lush surroundings.

Visitors are not the only beneficiaries of SAFRA@CCK where a suite of revamped wellness facilities cater to persons from all walks of life. The clubhouse location within Choa Chu Kang Park (the first SAFRA clubhouse to be uniquely sited in a park) draws in nearby parkgoers as well, forging cohesion across communities. Interlacing fitness and nature, the project echoes the bond between parkgoers and SAFRA members; NS men and the local community.

From the conscious incorporation of native plants into the landscaping strategy, to restoration of 100% of the landscape areas used for the development, clubgoers are constantly immersed in a green and serene oasis.

SAFRA@CCK’s spatial programming and architectural form ultimately reflect the simple yet quintessential principles of sustainability, activity and wellness. It is also on course to receive the Building and Construction Authority (BCA) Singapore’s Green Mark Platinum-SLE rating.
