Singapore Sports Hub featured in The Sunday Times for global engineering award

Singapore Sports Hub was featured in the 15^th November 2015 edition of Singapore’s The Sunday Times for having won a globally recognised award for structural engineering – the Supreme Award for Structural Engineering.

The award was conferred by the Institution of Structural Engineers (IStructE) in London, which gives out annual awards to recognise outstanding work in the structural engineering profession all over the world.

DP Architects director Teoh Hai Pin, who led the joint team from Arup, DP Architects and AECOM on the design and delivery of the Singapore Sports Hub, expressed his humility at the award and appreciation that the design was recognised as a balance of function and structural elegance.
