The Straits Times Recruit Features Chan Hui Min

DP Architects director Chan Hui Min contributed her thoughts about how office layouts could influence employee engagement and performance in the 24 June 2016 edition of The Straits Times Recruit.
She wrote about how diverse the workforce is these days, where traditionalists, baby boomers, Generation X and millennials work together in the same environment. With different mind-sets, values and working styles as well as the proliferating use of technology, organisations and businesses should strive to make workspaces flexible, adapted to encourage collaborations and built with communal and social spaces for work-life integration.
She felt that a well-designed office workspace would help motivate employees at work, and that this would, in turn, translate into higher profitability and productivity and lower turnovers for companies.
