Woon Chung Yen receives Perspective’s 40 Under 40 2017 Awards

This year, Perspective recognised Associate Director, Mr Woon Chung Yen, as one of the 40 creative stars in Asia under the age of 40 from the fields of architecture, art, interior design, and product design, for his architectural contributions that helped shaped the design landscape.

Chung Yen joined DP Architects in 2011 and has been pushing design boundaries ever since. He has worked on both local projects such as the Singapore University of Technology and Design (SUTD) as well as overseas projects such as the Acropolis and Southpark mixed developments in Dhaka, Bangladesh, and Muong Hoa Cultural Park in Sapa, Vietnam.

Upon graduation with Master of Architecture from the National University of Singapore (NUS), Chung Yen’s quest for design excellence brought him to New York City where he worked in the office of Rafael Vinoly Architects (RVA) as Project Architect on the University of Pennsylvania Translational Research Centre.
